This 54-unit apartment building in Innwood underwent a substantial interior renovation with a scope of work encompassing renovation of the lobby, hallways, and 15 units. After every apartment was stripped to the studs, each unit was reorganized with an efficient layout that eliminated cramped hallways and antiquated galley kitchens. Open floor plans, including integrated kitchens, maximized open common space. Kitchens were updated with new appliances, full height tile walls, and islands. The re-organized apartment interiors were accented with a selection of minimalist fixtures, fittings, and finishes in a color palette of grays, blacks, and whites. The renovation of the lobby allowed for more freedom with color and styling. Unique building features like the scalloped deco crown molding and terrazzo floors were restored with feature lighting highlighting specific each of the architectural details.
