This two seat bench was designed to showcase a blanket picked up in a souvenir shop in Tulum, Mexico. It is constructed of a cabinet grade plywood seat and ash legs finished with tung oil. The piece is designed with simple lines and joinery to highlight the colorful blanket placed on the seat. Each of the ends of the folded blanket are placed through the slots to form a cushion for the user that can be removed or swapped out.
